Acadia Crime Stoppers: Help needed in solving theft

Deputies with the Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office are investigating the theft of six John Deere side by sides from a business located in the 1500 block of Crowley Rayne Hwy. near Crowley. These thefts occurred during the nights of November 23 - 25, 2019.

Suspect(s) gained access to the property by removing portions of a chain link fence. The suspect's vehicle was captured on video surveillance and is described as a light color four-door truck pulling a double axel metal frame trailer.

The six stolen side by sides include three two-seaters with a top, green and yellow in color, two two-seaters with a cab and doors, green and yellow in color, and a two-seater with a top, camo in color. The total value is $105k.
