St. Landry Crime Stoppers searching for domestic battery, stabbing suspect

St. Landry Parish Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a suspect involved in the domestic battery and stabbing of an Opelousas woman.

28-year-old Brandon James Smith Sr. also known as Brandon Walker of New Iberia is wanted for the February 7, 2019 beating and stabbing of a woman. The victim was allegedly dragged throughout the house by her hair, struck several times in the face, held at gunpoint, then cut and stabbed her throughout her body.

Warrants are issued for 1 Count of Aggravated 2nd Degree Battery, 1 Count of False Imprisonment, 1 Count of Felon in Possession of a Firearm, along with additional charges.
