St. Landry Crime Stoppers needs your help in locating the suspect involved in an armed robbery and sexual assault in Sunset.
On Friday, February 22, 2019, just before 9:00 p.m., the Sunset Police Department received a call in reference to an armed robbery of the Subway located on Oak Tree Park Drive. Investigators say the male suspect was wearing a mask, hoodie jacket, dark pants, grey t-shirt, and was armed with a silver handgun.
The unknown suspect robbed the store at gunpoint then pulled out the wires of security camera and sexually assaulted the clerk at gunpoint.
DNA evidence was collected at the scene.
