Investigators with the Rayne Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to locate 30-year-old Paul L. Wheeler.
On November 9th at 11:33 pm, Wheeler is accused of shooting at two people near the intersection of North Bradford and A School Street in Rayne. This incident is believed to have occurred regarding a previous disturbance.
Investigators were able to secure an arrest warrant for Paul Wheeler for two counts of attempted second-degree murder. Officers believe that Wheeler has fled the Rayne area to avoid being arrested.
Wheeler is described as five feet seven inches tall, weighs 140 pounds. He has short black hair and brown eyes. Wheeler has a tattoo of a cross on his lower forehand. His last known address is 304 Holt Street in Rayne.
