Acadia Crime Stoppers: Thief stole Christmas presents, guns and more

Detectives with the Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office are investigating two residential burglaries which occurred on December 3, 2018, that they believe to be related.

One was in the 200 block of Don Dr. in Western Acadia Parish and the other in the 2000 block of McMillan Ave. near Iota. In both instances, homeowners left during daytime hours and returned to find the rear door of their residences kicked in. The unknown suspect(s) rummaged through the homes stealing several items including firearms, Vizio Smart TV’s, a Fender Guitar, a gold ring with the initials “BCF” and wrapped Christmas gifts.
