According to the Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office, Frankie D. Moore, the suspect identified in connection with an armed robbery in Church Point, has been located and arrested.
Moore was featured on a segment of Acadia Parish Crimes Stoppers on Tuesday, November 27.
The robbery, according to the Sheriff’s Office, occurred at the Main Street Shell Station on S. Main Street in Church Point. Moore allegedly entered the business with a semi-automatic firearm and demanded money from the clerk before fleeing with an undetermined amount of money.
The Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office believed Moore may have been in the Morgan City area. He was arrested on Tuesday, November 27 and booked into the Acadia Parish Jail on charges of armed robbery.
No bond has been set.
