Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish needs your help to solve a crime.
The Iota Police Department is investigating a residential burglary which occurred sometime during the week of December 2 to 9, 2017, in the 600 block of S. 5th St. in Iota.
While the victim was out of town unknown suspect made entry into the home and stole several firearms including an Omni Hybrid AR-12, a 12 ga. Browning Shotgun and a 20 ga. Browning Shotgun. Silver dollar coins were also stolen. It’s believed that entry was gained through the garage door, according to Acadia Parish Sheriff KP Gibson.
