St. Landry Crime Stoppers is asking for help in locating a cargo trailer and three ATV’S stolen from the Opelousas area.
On September 10, 2018 deputies were dispatched to the 100 block of Salvador Road in Opelousas for the theft of an enclosed cargo trailer. The trailer was loaded with tools and is a 12 foot long 2016 Aris cargo trailer black in color, according to Major Eddie Thibodeaux.
A green 2009 Honda Rubicon four-wheeler was stolen from the 1800 block of Highway 357 on September 17, 2018. The ATV has swamp lite tires and has a rear basket attached to it.
Deputies responded to a theft on the 400 block of Homer Richard Road in Opelousas on September 18, 2018. Stolen was a red Honda 4×4 ATV that was in the rear of the residence.
Then on September 20, 2018, in 4100 block of Highway 357 a red Honda Foreman TRX 450S. The suspects were able to cut the chain the owner used to secure it under the carport. On all ATV thefts, evidence shows that the suspect’s possibility used a truck and trailer to remove the ATV’S.
