In a week of freezing temperatures, crawfish prices aren't budging. In Lafayette, expect to pay an average of $6.94/lb. That's down 6 cents from last week, but up 9.4% for the average price this time of year. It's also the highest price on record for time of year since we started tracking prices in 2014.
Several restaurants that were boiling last week have been forced to close this week because of the freezing temperatures. Here's the list of who's open as of Thursday:
