Severe weather causes damage across Louisiana

BATON ROUGE – Many parishes are reporting damage after a cold front with severe thunderstorms moved across the state Wednesday night into Thursday morning. Initial assessment information is being sent to the Governor’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness (GOHSEP).

Lafayette’s citizens were amazed Saturday night when Saturday Night Live showed a sketch set at AOC Community Media in Lafayette. Silverbacks Improv Theatre began working on a “clapback” early Sunday morning. The filmed sketch completed by Silverbacks Improv, called “Liberal Lagniappe,” premiered today on AOC.
