Strain: Reward offered for information on stolen log truck, trailer

Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry (LDAF) enforcement agents need your help in locating a log truck and trailer that was stolen in the Bossier City area recently, Commissioner Mike Strain, D.V.M., said.

LDAF enforcement agents said a 2016 Peterbilt truck with a 2016 Viking log trailer was stolen from a truck stop at the intersection of I-220 and I -20 in Bossier City, La. on Nov. 15 around 9 p.m. The truck is orange in color with Louisiana Lic Plate #J0146962. The trailer is black with LA Vin # 1V9PD422XGN062222. The truck and trailer is owned by MTS TRUCKING.

“If you witnessed suspicious activity around on November 15 or have seen this truck and trailer, please contact our agents,” Strain said.

The Louisiana Forestry Association (LFA) is offering up to a $2,000 reward for information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible and the recovery of the log truck and trailer.
