An 18-year-old from Lake Charles was arrested for allegedly being in possession of and uploading child sexual abuse images and videos.
Louisiana State Police say that Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) contacted LSP Criminal Investigations Division (LSP-CID) Region II in reference to an individual uploading pornography involving juveniles.
On January 30, 2020, Troopers arrested 18-year-old Garrett O’Quain of Lake Charles. After a review of the evidence, State Police say it was determined that O’Quain was in possession of images and videos of child sex abuse. During questioning, O’Quain allegedly admitted to being in possession and downloading the images and videos.
He was booked into the Calcasieu Parish Correctional Center on a warrant charging him with 376 counts of possession of pornography involving juveniles. His bond was set at $50,000.
