BATON ROUGE, La (KATC) — New LSU athletic director Scott Woodward was officially introduced to the Louisiana media on Tuesday during a press conference at the university’s school of journalism.
“We will conduct ourselves with integrity and will do our small part in elevating this university,” Woodward said in his opening comments.
Woodward says that while he has yet to be fully briefed on the Will Wade investigation, the Tigers basketball coach has his “one-hundred percent support.”
the LSU alum, who spent three years as Texas A&M’s athletic director, says he’s not looking to change any traditions in Baton Rouge, but is open to ideas around sports gambling, expanding alcohol policies at Tiger Stadium and expanding recruitment in Louisiana.
