UPDATE: All lanes are open on I-10 West past Ambassador Caffery

The Scott Fire Department says there is currently backup on I-10 following a crash and 18-wheeler fire.
Crews are on scene of that vehicle crash which involves a fire with a 18 wheeler dump truck. The crash is located on I-10 Westbound at Mile Marker 99.
The fire is out but cleanup is continuing.
Only minor injuries reported.
Drivers are asked to avoid the I-10 area, I -10 East is down to one lane with possible closures.
Emergency and Tow crews are attempting to clear up the scene to fully reopen I-10.Drivers are asked to avoid Interstate 10 in BOTH directions in the area.
The area should be cleared by 12:30 p.m.
