7 PM UPDATE: KTRK reports that two of the five officers shot in today’s incident are in critical condition.
Two suspects are dead, and a third is still barricaded in a house where the officers went to serve a narcotics warrant, KTRK reports.
ORIGINAL STORY: Several Houston Police officers have been shot, the chief says.
KHOU reports that Police Chief Art Acevedo confirmed five officers shot: one was air lifted to a local hospital, the other four were transported via ambulance. They also report that the incident happened in a residential neighborhood while officers were serving a warrant.

The Houston Chronicle is reporting confirmation that three officers were shot.
The incident reportedly occurred about 5 p.m. near Harding St. and Fennell. There is also one suspect reported dead at the scene, according to HPD, the newspaper reported.

There is also one suspect reported dead at the scene, according to HPD.

Joseph Gamaldi, President of the Houston Police Officers’ Union told the newspaper that five officers were injured.
