Breaux Bridge Police say they have arrested a man in connection with a shooting earlier this month
Police say they have arrested Sabarian Jarian Alexander in connection with a shooting on West Patin Street which happened on November 1, 2018. No one was injured in that shooting but investigators say that they were able to gather information on the suspect.
Officials say the shooter, Alexander, was identified and arrested Tuesday, November 13, 2018, on the following charges:
- 5 counts Attempted Second Degree Murder
- 1 count Illegal Discharge of a Firearm
- 2 counts Aggravated Criminal Damage to Property
Alexander was also booked on other charges from other unrelated incidents those charges are:
- 1 count Aggravated Battery
- 1 count Aggravated Assault with a Firearm
- 1 count Illegal Possession of Stolen Firearm
- 1 count Illegal Carrying of a Weapon
- Firearm Free Zone
- Disturbing the Peace/Fight/Assault
