The Cajun Heartland State Fair is one month away from opening night and the Cajundome is making changes to parking and admission.
Parking in the past was $10 and now it will be free, however, anyone over the age of two will have to pay a $3 entrance fee into the fairgrounds.
Free admission will be available with a wristband purchased from local retailers and through other retail promotions, according to the Cajundome.
The Cajundome also says that admission fees allow for free family entertainment
