UPDATE: W. Congress has reopened following a vehicle fire.
The incident happened around 5 pm and no injuries are being reported, accordng to police.

Lafayette Police and Fire Department are currently on scene of a vehicle fire on West Congress.
West Congress is closed near Adrien’s Supermarket.
Police are reporting no injuries.
