DUSON — Vietnam Veterans Association Chapter 141 donated dozens of stuffed animals to the Duson Police Department on Wednesday. Police say the toys are a useful tool to help officers gain the trust of young children in emergency situations.
Duson Police Chief Kip Judice says the donation is made that much more significant because officers frequently pay for toys out of their own pockets.
